Current Situation of VFX Industry: The VFX industry was severely underestimated until 2015. Many people looked down on it, thinking it was a field for the illiterate because no degree or qualification was required to join.  Anil Kumar Sankula, a man of simple tastes and humble beginnings, embarked on a journey that would lead him from the world of printing presses to the realm of multimedia. Born on July 29th, November 1982, in Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Anil's early life was characterized by a love for music, movies, and cricket, with Sachin Tendulkar reigning as his cricketing hero and Mega Star Chiranjeevi as his favorite actor.

 

Initially unaware of the multimedia field, Anil's path was illuminated by his brother Ajay, who worked as a manager in a printing press. Inspired by his brother's work, Anil began to explore the world of graphic design with the help of Murthy Graphics, where he honed his skills during the day and experimented with colors and designs at night.

 

An opportunity arose when Anil Kumar Sankula spotted an advertisement from Kalyani Ads. He seized the chance and began his career as a graphic designer in 2006, working tirelessly for three years. His talent caught the eye of Studio N, where he expanded his repertoire, working across departments such as Roto, Paint, 2D Animation, and Editing.

 

Anil Kumar Sankula journey continued as he ventured into companies like Prasad EFX, Reliance Media Works, Rotomaker, and Digital Domain, steadily climbing the ranks as a senior paint artist. Yet, amidst his success, Anil harbored a burning desire to establish his own venture.

 

Reliance Media Works is his favorite company so far as it is a company known for great friendly working culture. And leaning atmosphere.

 

After corona Pandemic Lockdown, Anil Kumar Sankula made the bold decision to leave his job and pursue his dream. Initially, he focused on training aspiring artists in Roto and Paint, gradually transitioning into freelancing and eventually establishing his own startup, Cupid VFX. Today, Anil leads a team of talented individuals, some of whom he trained himself, with hopes of further growth on the horizon.

 

Anil Kumar Sankula's story is one of determination, perseverance, and the pursuit of dreams. As he sets his sights on building his own VFX company, his journey serves as an inspiration to all who dare to dream and strive for success.
