Many people looked down on it, thinking it was a field for the illiterate because no degree or qualification was required to join. It was seen as skill-based, accessible to anyone with the talent, yet widely misunderstood due to lack of awareness. Back then, professions like engineering and medicine overshadowed it. However, between 2011 and 2018 , the industry matured significantly, gaining recognition. Before, there were only 4-5 VFX companies in India , but now, hundreds have emerged, marking a positive shift. In the past, a salary of 20,000 to 30,000 rupees was considered great, but now, many earn in lakhs. A Promising Beginning:

Aman Verma, son of Rakesh Kumar Verma, hails from the quaint town of Hajipur in Bihar. Despite his engineering background, Aman's heart was drawn to the captivating world of visual effects (VFX). Fuelled by a love for photography and a penchant for sci-fi and comedy films, Aamir Khan is his favorite actor, Aman found himself increasingly intrigued by the magic of multimedia.


Discovering the Passion:

During Aman Verma's second year of engineering, Aman's fascination with animation and film editing blossomed. Encouraged by his relative Arunish, he embarked on a journey to explore the realm of VFX. Enrolling at MAAC Pune, Aman pursued his newfound passion with zeal, supported wholeheartedly by his understanding family.


Following the Dream:

Despite securing a job based on his engineering degree, Aman chose to pursue his passion for VFX, earning him the title of VFXYodha, a warrior of visual effects. His family's unwavering support and his own determination proved instrumental in debunking misconceptions surrounding the industry.


The Professional Odyssey:

After completing his multimedia course, Aman embarked on a professional journey, working at esteemed studios such as Double Negative, MPC, BOT, Pixstone, and currently at Atomic Arts in Bengaluru. Despite encountering challenges, Aman's satisfaction in pursuing his passion remained unshaken.


Balancing Education and Career:

While at MPC, Aman pursued an executive MBA in project management from Dayanandsagar University, Bengaluru, demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning and growth.


Recognition and Achievements:

Aman Verma's dedication and talent were duly recognized through accolades such as the Spot Award at MPC, the Great Show Paint Award at Pixstone, and the Employee of the Month at Atomic Arts. These milestones served as fuel for his aspirations.


Dreams for the Future:

With a preference for companies like MPC and Atomic Arts for their exemplary work culture and work-life balance, Aman aspires to elevate his position in composition, aiming for even greater success in the near future.


Aman Verma's journey is not just about chasing dreams but about proving that passion, perseverance, and support can pave the way for a fulfilling career in the dynamic world of visual effects.
